Main purpose of the role:
Responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and for ensuring customer satisfaction is the number one priority.

The ideal candidate will have/be:
- HACCP training is desirable but not necessary
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous customer service experience is an advantage
- The ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi task under pressure
- A passion for food and the ability to inspire shoppers.

Main duties:
- Actively live SuperValu brand-values i.e. Genuine, Passion for Food, Vibrant, Committed, Innovative and Imaginative
- Prepare customer orders across all fresh food areas i.e. make sandwiches and rolls, dish up hot food and slice meats using the store`s portion control measures
- Cook, prepare and display the foods sold throughout the day
- Ensure that the counter displays across all fresh food departments are to the highest standards at all times throughout the day
- Demonstrate your passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with customers
- Deal with all customer queries efficiently, professionally and in line with store policy.

The Moriarty Group is an Irish owned company which was established in Dublin in 1988. The Group is involved in both the retail grocery and hospitality industries. The Group currently comprises of three large Super Valu stores situated in Balbriggan and Skerries, North County Dublin and Palmerstown, Dublin 20 and two 4* Hotels, The Bracken Court Hotel, Balbriggan and The Court Yard Hotel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.

We are currently seeking to recruit a number of experienced deli assistants to work in our busydelicatessendepartment within our Palmerstown store.

Our Palmerstown store is located in Dublin 20 close to Ballyfermot, Liffey Vally, Clondalkin, Lucan and Chapelizod and is easily accessed from the M50 & N4 motorways. It is also located on main bus routes.

This ia a full-time opportunity working an average of 39/40 hours per week 5 days over 7 to include weekends and public holidays.
